Grampian Gundog Club was established in March 2003 by a group of enthusiastic members with the aim of improving the training and wellbeing of gundogs and to ultimately provide a platform for members to compete in trials at the highest level leading to an entry to The International Gundog League Championship. We are a friendly growing club and held our first Novice AV Retriever trial in 2008 , welcoming our Spaniel Section in 2020 and our first Novice AV Spaniel Trial in 2021. The growth of our club continued with the acceptance by the Kennel Club of our Open Status with the support of over 20 A Panel judges and we proudly held our inaugural 2 day Open for AV Retrievers in 2023 at Kellas Estate, Morayshire. Our enthusiastic Spaniel Section is hopefully pursuing Open status in the future as our club moves forward.
